About Sandy

I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Narrative Documentary Editorial Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. After shooting my way to a four-year degree, I worked for years as a news photographer for several daily newspapers and a news wire service in the greater Boston area.  In the mid-nineties I returned to New York where I worked as the sole public relations photographer for the University of Rochester.  However, about one year later a change in my family’s circumstances brought us back to northeastern Massachusetts where we now reside and where I continued my work in news and PR and also began working on weddings, events and portraiture. Whether photographing a news event, a documentary story, a public relations assignment or your family, I will bring years of training, experience and an inspired eye to my work. My photography has received multiple awards and has been shown in galleries and universities as well as publications worldwide.
